What purpose does this site serve?

Well, it's a great way for me to waste time. But it's also one of the most complete guides to the music used in the X-Files that I've been able to find on the net.

The heart of this web site is the episode guide. I've gone season by season, episode by episode, and gathered song titles, artist names, album info and lyrics.

After that, you'll find information on the soundtracks, Mark Snow and a list of music that hasn't been used on the show, but contains some sort of X-Files reference in it.

There are one or two sites out there I've found that have drawn quite a bit of information from this site. It's cool with me so long as I get credit. In one very aggravating case, a site lifted about 95% of the songs I had listed here, gave me credit and a link for a little while, and then got rid of it. It irritated me to no end. Just email me or, if you don't want to do that, just say "Thanks" somewhere on your site and I promise I won't rant again.
